Gabriel Ekusi

My name is Gabriel Ekusi Ekulany. I'm a fourth year student pursuing Bachelors of Law degree. I also serve as the Governor for the Main Campus. I'm an ardent believer of Christian values and I purpose to exhibit the same in the course of my leadership in this great institution. 

My jurisdiction as the Governor of the Main Campus entails the advocacy of the Campus welfare both on campus and off campus. Social welfare chiefly encapsulates the wellness of the students and as a result I strive to ensure that the wellness of the students is adequately taken care of.

Daystar is a christ centered institution of higher learning and as a result my core principles of leadership are in tandem with the University's core values which include servant leadership, transformation and excellence. I'm ardently committed to upholding Daystar values and ethos in the discharge of my mandate as the Governor for the Main Campus.

My favorite verse is in the Book of Psalms 1:1-3 which elucidates that:

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor walks in the path of the sinners nor seats in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the Law of the Lord and in His Law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the Rivers of water ,whose leaves do not wither and bears its fruit in its season."
